Speaking Examiner for Cambridge English Exams

 For the administration of the Cambridge Exams we are looking for SPEAKING EXAMINERSDescription of PositionSpeaking Examiners are responsible for conducting and assessing the oral exams of our candidates. The exams are mostly held on Fridays and Saturdays, on about 15 to 24 days quarterly. The Speaking Examiner is expected to give good availability. We host exams in the areas of Berne, Lucerne, Basel, St. Gallen, Zürich and Winterthur. We are also looking for applicants from Chur and the surrounding area. Specific Duties• Be available for at least 50% of oral exam dates for trained levels• Attend one face-to-face certification meeting per year• Complete online certification (standardisation) • Be willing to travel to other areas to examine• Must be able to attend training days on the 7.12.2016 and one out of the following dates: 4.2.2017 / 11.2.2017 / 24.2.2017• Undergo regular monitoring• Attend training sessions (a day per level)• Fulfil your examining assignment and reserve allocationsProfessional requirements• Education to first academic degree level or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree) and/or a recognised language teaching qualification (DELTA)• Proof of sustainable, relevant, recent teaching experience – at least 1800 hoursIf you are interested in the position of Speaking Examiner please send your CV and supporting documents such as diplomas and certificates by E-mail to: Simona Bogrova s.bogrova@swiss-exams.chApplication deadline: Sunday, 20.
