Stiftsschule Engelberg is an innovative private high school (Gymnasium), attended by both day students and boarding students. Our students work toward graduating with a Swiss Bilingual Matura Certificate (German/English) as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma after completing 4 to 6 years of Gymnasium. English Teacher (12 – 18 lessons per week, 50 – 75%)

The total weekly teaching load will consist of 6 lessons at the Lower Gymnasium level and 12 lessons within the bilingual Matura / IB (Group 2 English HL) framework. Additional teaching hours in combination with other subjects may be possible.

The successful candidate for the position must have the prerequisite qualifications and credentials of the field, the ability to work well in a team, and also enjoy working with young people in helping them to achieve their educational goals. To qualify as a teacher in the IB program, the candidate must also be willing to complete continuing ed courses designed specifically for IB teachers.
