Science Teacher for maternity cover 80%

Workload: 80% (16 weekly lessons) as of August 2021 the workload amounts to 100% (20 weekly lessons)

Location: Basel

We are looking for a qualified Science teacher for temporary maternity cover. This is a part time position. You will be working with a hard-working, dedicated staff teaching iGCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Ideally you would be able to teach Chemistry or Biology to A level. You will have experience teaching at secondary, high school or sixth form with a track record of using a wide variety of teaching approaches to ensure every student reaches their personal best. You will be a teacher who is passionate and interested in further learning and development in particular sharing and learning from others.

What you should bring with you:

•      Qualified teacher status

•      Native or near native English speaker

•      Preferably experience with iGCSE and A levels

•      An up to date police check to show you have clearance to work with young people.
