Academia International School is an English-speaking grammar school in Basel and Zurich preparing students for an international university entrance qualification. We follow the British International Curriculum (IGCSEs and A Levels). We are a multi-cultural, city center school who aims to provide academic excellence in a cosy, caring environment. Academia International School started in 2009 in Basel. We have grown steadily since then and opened another school in Zurich in 2019.

Tasks

·   Teaching according to Pearson Edexcel curriculum

·   Cooperation and communication with the team and parents

·   Planning and preparation of excursions, school trips, project weeks and other special events

·   Supporting the pedagogical concept

·   Coordination and team work within the department and school

Requirements

·   Extended subjects specific and interdisciplinary knowledge

·   high motivation, ability to work in a team, independent working style and flexibility

·   Teaching qualification beneficial

·   Fluent in English

·   Didactic and pedagogical skills

·   Passion for the subject and creativity in teaching
